At Devon EMS  our key co-ordinators have years of experience managing medical cover for major events in Devon & Cornwall, within the voluntary sector.

By appointing Devon EMS to organise your event medical needs we will:-

*  Risk Assess your event free of charge and offer advice.
*  Plan and manage the appropriate medical cover on your behalf.
*  Arrange the appropriate resources and provide an estimate of costs.

Medical cover for your event will be provided by our multi-skilled  Event Medical Team, many of our operatives are front line NHS Clinical Staff,  operating from  well equipped vehicles, currently  we do not have  Doctors or Registered Paramedics as an internal resource, however should your event require this level of input we can normally make the necessary arrangments.

Cover Is Provided At Two Levels


COMMUNITY:
Available for events held during the evening or on weekends/Bank Holidays. Standard prices start from £14.00 per hour
(inc of 50 miles base to base, additional mileage at prevailing rate)
or by special arrangement.


COMMERCIAL:
Applies to events taking place during
weekdays, with prices starting from £17.30 per hour
(inc of 50 miles base to base, additional mileage at prevailing rate].


Standards
Events are covered to
First Aid or Emergency Care Standard
depending on the  size of the event
(will be subject to risk assessment).


FIRST AID:
For smaller events

EMERGENCY CARE:
For medium sized or sporting events.
Standard equipment for Emergency Care includes
Medical Gases, Automated Defibrillator
and Vital Signs Monitor.
Our Combined  Mobile First Aid Unit/Emergency Care Unit
Our Event - Emergency Care Unit.

We provide medical cover for all special events organised by the
South Devon Railway
and have an on-site static first aid unit at Buckfastleigh Station.
